We all saw this happening, with a false alarm happening earlier this year when Maria was spotted with a ring on the traditional American ring finger. Well, looks like the news is real. Ovechkin and Kirilenko are engaged. To add to the fact today is Black Monday in the sports community, this news only makes those that were eyeing Ovi's love mega depressed. The way we read into this is he is wearing his Caps gloves and wants to come back to the US to have mega fun engagement time))) Also, Maria should really consider wearing hockey skates. Would increase her public stock 10 fold.

Then this tweet! ZOMG WEDDING OF THE CENTURY! (Of course we are only playing into the hype of this awesome news in good sensationalist fashion)

 

Congrats Ovi and Maria! You will make a very athletic family and will hopefully prevent any Belly-gate's from happening ever again.
