As we reported last week, Perreault has made it official. He will be playing for HIFK Helsinki as early as today (Friday) according to some sources as his flight touched down early Thursday. Per HIFK Helsinki's team site, Perreault has landed in Finland to start his European tour.  In an interview with reporters in Finland he answered the week-old question we were all wondering in regards to an existing player, Joel Perrault. "I know some players by name, but Joël Perrault is a friend of mine from Montreal, and I have met Stephane Robidas'n. I know the league and the players' physically play really hard and it suits me well because I am working hard to become that player. I'm excited about being here." Being from Montreal, Perreault mentioned the scenery in Helsinki looked familiar. "I've talked to a few friends, and league and team studied the net. Montreal was snowing when I left, so very familiar look." Perreault will look to continue his development towards becoming a solid forward for years to come.

Bonus: Looks like Matty P's bud is set to come back and play just in time with him.

Best of luck to Matty P!

God, I miss him. I was really hoping this would be the year he'd get more ice time and therefore, the chances of them making his jersey go up!
